Chelsea defeated PSG 3-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup final to be crowned world champions at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday.
The Blues claimed the first edition of the tournaments expanded format by giving the Champions League winners a taste of their own medicine, putting three goals past the Parisians in the first half.
Cole Palmers two goals and one assist earned him man of the match and the Blues star scooped up the Golden ball award for the Best Player of the Tournament. Chelsea shotstopper Robert Snchez was awarded the Golden Glove while PSGs Dsir Dou was named Best Young Player.
Chelsea started strong as Palmer produced a brilliant effort in the 8th minute, however, his effort curled narrowly wide of the left upright.
Snchez was called into action in the 18th minute, making a one handed save to deny Dous effort from the edge of the area.
