Civic organisation Accountability Now says the engagement with the National Prosecuting Authority NPA with former Public Enterprises Minister, Malusi Gigaba, before deciding the way forward does not inspire public confidence in the prosecuting body.
Yesterday, the NPA said Gigaba was not arrested after reports that he had handed himself to the police in Pretoria.
This after the Commission of Inquiry into State Capture had accused Gigaba of facilitating corrupt Gupta-linked business dealings with the government and being involved in state capture.
