Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed that the club has made a special request to UEFA.
Laporta was speaking on Friday as he addressed the delays in returning to the Camp Nou.
According to him, Barca asked UEFA to schedule their first Champions League game away from home.
Under UEFA rules, a club is not allowed to use two different venues as home stadiums.
This could thwart Barcelonas hopes of playing all four games of the league phase at the Camp Nou.
