RS Berkane will battle it out with Zamalek in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup final on Sunday, 12 May.

Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.

The first-leg encounter is scheduled to take place at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in a city located in northeastern Morocco, Berkane.

Berkane reached this stage of the tournament after they won on a walkover after Algerian side USM Alger withdrew in the semi-finals.

The Moroccan side will be hoping to go all the way and win the Confederation Cup a joint record three times having clinched the trophy in 2020 and 2022.

Senegalese striker Paul Bassne will carry Berkanes hopes of defeating Zamalek as he is the joint top scorer in this seasons tournament with four goals.

Meanwhile, Zamalek booked their spot in this stage of the tournament after defeating Dreams FC of Ghana 3-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

The Egyptian giants will be determined to go all the way and win the Confederation Cup for the second time having clinched the trophy in 2019.

Zamalek will look to Egypt international Ahmed Sayed Zizo who is the teams top scorer in this seasons tournament having scored three goals.

The second-leg encounter between Berkane and Zamalek will take place at the Cairo International Stadium in Cairo, Egypt on 19 May.
