Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has criticized the clubs three midfielders that played against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg tie on Tuesday night.
Merson pointed out that Martin Zubimendi, Declan Rice, and Eberechi Eze struggled to make an impact during the match at the Emirates Stadium.
Despite Arsenal securing a narrow 1-0 victory, courtesy of Kai Havertzs sole goal, Merson felt that the midfield didnt measure up against Chelseas formidable pairing of Moises Caicedo and Andrey Santos.
