As Cape Town navigates a potential water crisis, a recent evaluation of the citys water supply has stirred concern among residents and officials alike.
A climatologist at the University of Cape Town, Dr Peter Johnston, has revealed new estimates indicating that by April 2026, the level of the citys dams could plummet to 30.
Current measurements show the dams are presently at 73.7 capacity, but factors such as high consumption and predictions of below-average rainfall are straining the essential resource.
