As African cities face mounting pressure from population growth, climate uncertainty and rapid urban expansion, Cape Town is set to host a high-level gathering focused on the future of water management across the continent.
From 9-11 March 2026, the Smart Water Network Forum SWAN , in partnership with the City of Cape Town , will convene its annual interactive workshop at the Cape Town International Convention Centre CTICC.
The three-day event will bring together policymakers, utilities, financiers and technology specialists to unpack how digital solutions, and the funding models behind them, can reshape water systems across Africa.
