What began as a night out in Cape Town turned into a viral expose that's gripped social media and raised major questions about a popular nightclub.
Cape Town content creator Bae Keera took to TikTok earlier this week, detailing a troubling encounter he and a friend had at a well-known city nightlife venue. According to his account, the pair were physically assaulted by staff and left without their phone, allegedly stolen during the chaos.
Keera said they reported the matter to police and even alerted the clubs owner, who is known by the name Ghost. But instead of support, he claims he was met with pressure to delete his posts. Rather than backing down, Keera doubled down, sharing even more alarming messages that he says were passed to him by staff working at the venue.
In his latest uploads, Keera alleges that the club is involved in highly questionable practices, including using its own alcohol supplier to fill high-end liquor bottles with cheap alternatives. He also claimed that staff had shared disturbing insights about the recruitment process, suggesting that hiring decisions were made based on appearance rather than credentials.
The most unsettling of the claims involves young women allegedly being drugged and paired with patrons without their consent, something that, if true, could carry criminal consequences, as Briefly reports. Keera says some of the women he spoke to are afraid to go public due to fear of retaliation.
