cape town accelerates housing handover progress

In a significant rollout of housing development in the metro, the City of Cape Town has recently handed over an additional 30 homes to qualifying beneficiaries of the Bonteheuwel Infill housing project.

This infill initiative forms part of a broader drive to support home-ownership opportunities and deliver state-subsidised homes to applicants across the city.

The project is funded to the tune of R140 million, aiming to deliver 273 homes under the Breaking New Ground BNG subsidy model, and is scheduled for completion by June 2026, if all goes according to plan.
