Caf Hits Senegal, Morocco With Heavy Penalties Over Afcon Final Chaos

The Confederation of African Football CAF Disciplinary Board has imposed heavy sanctions on the Senegal and Moroccan Football Federations, certain players and officials for their role during the chaotic Africa Cup of Nations AFCON final in Rabat earlier this month.

Senegal were fined a total of 615 000 dollars for improper and unsporting conduct of their players, technical staff and supporters who brought the game into disrepute.

Its by far the biggest fine imposed by CAF.
