Rivers United held their hosts Power Dynamos of Zambia to a 0-0 draw at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday.
It was the Finidi George sides first point in the group stage of this seasons CAF Champions League.
Rivers United lost their previous two group games to holders Pyramids FC of Egypt and RS Berkane of Morocco.
