Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has defended South Africas choice to play against Panama in the March international break.
South Africa is set to host the 33rd ranked nation, according to FIFAs latest Mens World Ranking, in two international friendlies in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The first match will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Friday, with the second clash taking place at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town on Tuesday 31 March 2026.
