A routine morning crossing in Vredendal quickly shifted into a spontaneous river rescue effort after a dog was spotted stranded in a river, Cape town Etc reports.
According to a Facebook post by Danny Kotze , he was walking across a bridge when he was informed by members of the public that a dog had ended up in the river, some distance away from the crossing point.
Well then, this morning I walk over the bridge... I really never thought I would experience a rescue attempt! Kotze wrote, describing how a simple outing turned into an urgent situation.
