Aigle of Moungo will not attend their MTN Elite One championship match day 22 game this Sunday afternoon against Dynamo at the Bepanda Annex stadium.
Our sources within the club have it that president Adolphe Nseke has instructed that his players dont travel to Douala for he game as part of their reaction to the fact that the Cameroon Football Federation FECAFOOT failed to enlist the club for payment of state subventions which have been running in the past two weeks.
For starters, the Cameroon ministry of Sports has been paying clubs their state subventions for the current season but some clubs, amongst which Aigle were not included in the list FECAFOOT sent to the ministry for payment.
Our findings have it that Aigle players didnt enter the routine camp for the game and were absent from the pre-match meeting held earlier today.
The absence of Aigle this afternoon will make them the third top-flight championship franchise to boycott the activities of the federation following the likes of Bamboutos that has missed the last two match days and YOSA of Bamenda that failed to travel to Garoua this weekend for their appointment against Gazelle FA.
