With the IPL 2026 auction just three days away, former India opener Krishnamachari Srikkanth has shared his suggestions for the Chennai Super Kings CSK wishlist. Despite CSK already having a strong batting lineup, Srikkanth believes the five-time champions should focus on acquiring spin-bowling all-rounders, following the retirement of Ravichandran Ashwin and the trade of Ravindra Jadeja to Rajasthan Royals.
Srikkanth specifically recommended New Zealand all-rounder Mitchell Bracewell, who has delivered impressive performances in white-ball cricket for the Kiwis this year. CSK, who struggled in IPL 2025, finishing at the bottom of the points table, will be looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
Srikkanth also advised CSK to avoid bidding for India's leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi and South African veteran David Miller, despite their high market value in the auction pool.
