The body of an unidentified man has been found washed up on the beach near the Sea Point Pavilion, prompting an emergency response on the Atlantic Seaboard, reports Cape town Etc .
City of Cape Town Ward 54 councillor Nicola Jowell confirmed the discovery in community Facebook group, The Atlantic Seaboard Community Forum, on Sunday afternoon, 14 December.
Tragically, the body of a male has washed up on the beach close to the Sea Point Pavilion. The only indication is that the person has been in the water for quite some time, said Jowell in the Facebook post .
