Convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester is expected to challenge his transfer from the Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre in the Pretoria High Court next week.
This after the Department of Correctional Services last week confirmed that Bester was moved to eBhongweni Super Maximum Correctional Facility in Kokstad , KwaZulu-Natal.
The Correctional Services Department says offender transfers were guided by security risk assessments.
