Co-operative Governance Minister Velenkosini Hlabisa, says the eight year old boy who allegedly consumed contaminated snacks in Soweto is receiving the best medical care.
The boy however remains in the intensive care unit at the Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital after he fell ill shortly after consuming contaminated snacks .
The Ministers delegation, which includes Johannesburg mayor, Dada Morero, is visiting the boy in hospital.
The delegation went to the spaza shop in question in Mapetla, Soweto where they interacted with community members.
Hlabisa says samples of the snacks have been taken to a laboratory for testing.
