Former Manchester United team-mates, David Beckham and Gary Neville, on Thursday acquired Salford City.
Alongside ex-United teammates Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Philip Neville, Beckham and Neville were already investors in the League Two side.
But this new ownership group now includes US-based businessman Declan Kelly and the chairman of Britains Lawn Tennis Association, Mervyn Davies.
Butt, Giggs, Scholes and Philip Neville are no longer shareholders in Salford. However, they will still have roles at the club.
Football will come first, however, its critical that we drive the club towards sustainability in the next 4-5 years.
