Barcelona continued their impressive run in LaLiga with a 3-1 away victory over Elche at the Estadio Martinez Valero, moving four points clear at the top of the table.
The visitors started brightly and were rewarded early when teenage sensation Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the sixth minute. The 18-year-old, scoring for the third game in a row, latched onto a clever through ball from Dani Olmo, rounded the goalkeeper and rolled the ball into an empty net.
Elche responded well and found an equaliser in the 29th minute through Alvaro Rodriguez, who slipped in behind the defence and finished calmly. Barcelona pushed again before the break and regained the lead when Ferran Torres smashed home from close range after a cutback by Frenkie de Jong.
