Football might be the beautiful game but there's life after that and Uganda's Denis Omedi understands this perfectly, that is why he became a Nurse and Prison Officer aside being a player, Softfootball reports.
Omedi made his African Cup of Nations AFCON debut at the age of 31 not because he wasn't a good footballer but because he has missed a lot of opportunities trying to balance studying to be a Nurse and not missing training.
At the ongoing AFCON in Morocco, Omedi finally got his chance as a substitute and grabbed it with both hands with a goal despite Uganda losing 3-1 against Tunisia and in the final Group C game, Nigeria beat Uganda 3-1 to send them packing from the competition.
