Billionaire businessman Patrice Motsepe says he does not need to join politics to make a contribution to South Africa.
In recent months, media reports have claimed that some African National Congress ANC members have approached Motsepe to run for the partys presidency at its 2027 national conference.
It is thought that having him as the ANCs presidential candidate in the 2029 elections may stop the partys electoral decline.
