Amid ongoing delays at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport KMIA, Air Traffic and Navigations Services ATNS has applied to the South African Civil Aviation Authority SACAA for exemptions to reinstate suspended instrument flight procedures at the airport.
On October 14, ATNS announced that two instrument flight procedures for Runway 5 at the airport had been suspended for maintenance, as reported by Tourism Update .
ATNS warned that the suspended procedures would cause delays for flights to the airport operating during adverse weather conditions.
