Premier League side, Aston Villa has confirmed the departure of Dutch forward, Donyell Malen to Serie A side AS Roma on loan for the rest of the season with an option to make it permanent, Softfootball reports.
Malen's final game for Unai Emery's men came in the FA Cup triumph when Aston Villa eliminated Tottenham Hotspurs by a 2-1 scoreline courtesy goals from Emiliano Buendia and England international Morgan Rogers.
Aston Villa are already looking for new targets to replace Malen and former Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham is open to a move to Aston Villa this month as he looks to better his chances of making the England squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
