The African National Congress ANC has suggested that the deadline of Parliaments ad hoc committee to submit its report must be extended by a month.
The committee was established to investigate allegations of threats to national security, following allegations by KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi of serious corruption in the criminal justice system.
The committee has a deadline of October 31 and by then its report must be handed to the National Assembly.
