The meeting between the African National Congress ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula and the partys Limpopo Provincial Executive Committee members has resolved to reject the provincial chairperson, Stanley Mathabathas intention to step aside.
Mathabatha cited alleged unethical practices and practices that he says are not in line with the ANCs values occurring in the province.
The former premier of Limpopo and Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform says his decision was also motivated by misconduct and a lack of ANC values in the organization.
