amorim says final vs spurs is all or nothing after tough season

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has declared that his side's journey to the Europa League final will count for nothing unless they lift the trophy, as pressure builds ahead of their clash with Tottenham Hotspur on May 21 in Bilbao.

United cruised into the final with a comprehensive 7-1 aggregate win over Athletic Bilbao, sealing the deal with a 4-1 second-leg victory at Old Trafford. Despite their European success, the Red Devils have endured a dire Premier League campaign and sit just above Spurs in 15th place.

Speaking after the win, Amorim said: "It's the least we can do for our fans, who've supported us through such a difficult season. If we don't win the final, it means nothing. That's the truth."

The Portuguese coach admitted he is already feeling the pressure ahead of the final and acknowledged the club's underwhelming league form.

"I know I should be doing better, and the team should be better too," he said. "We've done well in Europe, but we're clearly struggling in the Premier League."
