Due to uncertainty surrounding his future, Isak has been forced to train away from the rest of the Newcastle squad . Softfootball understands that the Sweden International is under contract at Newcastle until June 2028.
Softfootball was reliably informed that Liverpool is ready to submit an improved offer for Isak, but is waiting for Newcastle to allow negotiations. The Magpies has attempted to sign a new striker, and a potential replacement for the 25-year-old, but has suffered a unfortunate summer transfer window.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his YouTube page , Isak has communicated firmly to Newcastle that he has no intention of signing a new deal at the club.

Isak has yet to feature for Newcastle United in their preparations for the new season. The 25-year-old was left out of the squad for their 4-0 defeat to Celtic amid growing transfer speculation.
He was also not involved in Friday nights 2-2 Sela Cup draw with Espanyol at St James Park, and he will not make appearance when Howe sends out his side against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
Alexander Isak unhappiness has presented Newcastle with a major decision to make, either cash in now and secure a substantial profit on the striker they signed for 63 million three summers ago, or mount a convincing effort to persuade him that his long-term future lies with the club.
