Air Zimbabwe plans to acquire six new aircraft over the next three years at a cost of US775,5 million as part of its five-year strategic plan to grow domestic, regional and international operations.

The plan is backed by the Mutapa Investment Fund and Zimbabwes National Treasury and aims to replace the airlines ageing fleet of Boeing 737s and 767s.
