Farmers union, Agri Limpopo, is calling on the government to put immediate actions in effect to curb the spread of foot-and-mouth disease.
This follows confirmation of four cases in the Thohoyandou, Vivo and Modimolle-Mookgophong areas.
Agri Limpopos Deidre Carter says the authorities must tighten border controls to prevent the disease from spreading.
