Member of the Parliament of Ghana, Patrick Yaw Boamah, has hailed referee Daniel Laryea for his outstanding officiating during Nigerias AFCON semi-final defeat to Morocco on Wednesday.
Yaw Boamah insisted that Laryea truly lifted the flag of Ghana with his performance during the encounter, adding that he would continue to be an inspiration to young Ghanaian referees.
Laryea suffered criticism from fans of the Super Eagles for his officiating as Morocco defeated Nigeria 4-2 via penalties.
