Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, technical director, Austin Eguavoen, 1has questioned Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle's squad selection for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Morocco.
Eguavoen said he felt disappointed that four players from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, were not included in Chelles AFCON squad.
Chelles 28-man AFCON squad was mostly made up of foreign-based players like Calvin Bassey, Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams.
