Hull City are in talks with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to delay Semi Ajayis release for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ajayi is expected to link up with the Nigerian squad in Egypt for their final preparations on December 11.
That will be a day after the Sky Bet Championship clash with Wrexham.
