Parliaments Ad Hoc committee established to look into wide ranging allegations of threats to national security, will meet again on Friday to further discuss its terms of reference.
The Committee was established following explosive allegations by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi of serious corruption in the criminal justice system.
Among others, Mkhwanazi alleged that some of the most senior officials in the South African Police Service SAPS are involved in corruption, and that the Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, who has been placed on special leave, is associated with criminal syndicates.
