Nigerian social media influencer, Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, VDM, has reacted to South African singer, Tyla winning the Best African Music Performance category at the 2026 Grammys ahead of Nigerian stars, Ayra Starr, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Omah Lay and Davido.
DAILY POST reports that Tyla won the Best African Music Performance category with her hit song Push 2 Start on Sunday night, making it her second win in the category since she won the inaugural award with Water in 2024.
However, moments after Tyla was announced, VDM released a video questioning her triumph.
