The Department of Basic Education says the 2025 matric results will be published in accredited newspapers next week Tuesday.
It says the results will appear using examination numbers only, with no names or ID numbers of learners to protect their personal information.
This approach follows a 2022 court order which the department says remains in force. The department also confirmed it will oppose the Information Regulator's application to for leave to appeal the ruling.
