A 19-year-old accused facing nine counts of murder and one count of attempted murder made a brief appearance in the Athlone Magistrate's Court on Monday, 26 January, Cape townEtc reports.
The accused was arrested in connection with a shooting at a shebeen in Marikana, Philippi East, on 17 January, where ten people were shot, according to Cape Town news .
Authorities have linked the suspect to the incident following an investigation into the deadly attack.
