Requirements

3 to 5 years' experience in financial support services within the public sector or a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise financial accounting transactions and salary administration support
  • Perform bookkeeping and budget support services
  • Verify monthly reconciliations of suspense accounts (Petty Cash and Suppliers)
  • Ensure the safe-keeping of expenditure batches
  • Validate documentation and authorize payments
  • Ensure all creditors are paid within the prescribed timeframe (30 days)
  • Supervise and monitor the performance of subordinates
  • Submit regular activity reports to Management
  • Provide reliable financial information for decision-making
