Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years appropriate experience in social work after registration with the SACSSP
- Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
- Valid motor vehicle driver's license (except for PWD)
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Facilitate and oversee the formal registration processes for Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) within the province
- Monitor and enforce regulatory compliance, accreditation, and institutional transformation of NGOs, CBOs, and FBOs
- Execute comprehensive quality assurance evaluations and performance monitoring of social service providers
- Manage departmental funding processes and financial awards in strict accordance with the Financial Award Policy
- Provide clinical supervision, professional guidance, and administrative leadership to Social Workers and Social Auxiliary Workers
- Lead the implementation of the Social Work Service Delivery Model within the NPO sector
- Conduct governance audits and provide technical advisory services to NPO boards and management teams
