Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Formulate, implement, and maintain strategic social work policies concerning services for people with disabilities
  • Oversee the Uniform Funding Cycle (UFC) and manage the Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) funding application process
  • Monitor and evaluate NPO compliance against signed Transfer Payment Agreements (TPA) and regulatory norms
  • Execute rapid response protocols following complaints or inquiries raised by executive authorities or the public
  • Facilitate the legal registration of care facilities in accordance with applicable provincial and national legislation
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships across international, national, and local governmental spheres
  • Provide capacity building and training to service providers on existing legislative and policy frameworks
  • Perform high-level administrative functions and conduct research to stay abreast of global social work developments
