- Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) cycle
- Familiarity with the LOGIS system or similar procurement software
- Understanding of Asset Management and inventory control
- Ability to maintain accurate registers and databases
- Basic knowledge of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations
- Effective communication and stakeholder liaison skills.

- Previous exposure to a Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, or Logistics environment will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide asset management support by maintaining asset databases and verifying the official Asset Register
- Facilitate the issuance of furniture and equipment and identify obsolete items for disposal
- Render demand and acquisition support by maintaining the supplier database and registering vendors on LOGIS
- Request and process quotations while capturing specifications on the electronic purchasing system
- Place official orders and assist in the administration of bid documents and contract conclusion processes
- Provide logistical support by receiving and verifying goods from suppliers against purchase orders
- Manage inventory by issuing goods to end-users and maintaining updated goods registers.
