- Ability to manage financial records related to postage and remittances
- Valid Code B driver's license
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in a Registry or Records Management environment
- Experience in a supervisory capacity is advantageous
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise the end-to-end processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence including reception, sorting, registration, and dispatch
- Oversee the implementation of effective filing and record management services according to the approved record classification system
- Manage file lifecycle processes including opening, closing, electronic/manual tracing, and retrieval of documentation
- Administer franking machine operations, including daily register updates, monetary recording, and spot checks to prevent postal misuse
- Manage the remittance register for valuable articles and ensure secure handover to the Finance department
- Coordinate the archiving and disposal process including electronic scanning, sorting, packaging, and list compilation for archival submission
- Monitor and maintain high ethical standards within the registry unit
- Supervise human resources by allocating work, ensuring quality control, and conducting staff performance assessments
- Facilitate personnel development and training for subordinates according to public service prescriptions
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of registry-related office equipment
