Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide comprehensive registry and document management services to the department
- Manage and record incoming and outgoing correspondence, including hand-delivered mail and files
- Maintain an effective filing system by opening, closing, and indexing files according to the official record classification system
- Facilitate document retrieval and tracing using both manual and electronic systems
- Oversee the franking process, including maintaining the Franking Register and managing postal budgets
- Administer the remittance register by recording valuable articles and ensuring secure delivery to Finance
- Prepare and process documents for archiving and disposal in line with statutory disposal schedules
- Perform electronic scanning, sorting, and packaging of files for distribution and archival storage.
