Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide registry counter services and handle telephone enquiries
- Receive, sort, and register all incoming and outgoing mail and files
- Maintain the departmental filing system by opening and closing files according to the approved classification system
- Facilitate the storage, electronic/manual tracing, and retrieval of documents
- Manage the franking machine, including daily register updates and security checks
- Maintain the remittance register for valuable articles and coordinate with Finance
- Process documents for archiving and disposal, including electronic scanning and packaging
- Compile archival lists and maintain records for long-term storage
