Requirements
- Grade 1: Minimum of 4 years appropriate/recognizable experience after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing
- Grade 2: Minimum of 14 years appropriate/recognizable experience after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing, with at least 10 years of that experience being in the PHC specialty after obtaining the 1-year post-basic qualification.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage comprehensive PHC services including PHC re-engineering, key priority programmes, and ideal health facility standards
- Provide advanced comprehensive nursing treatment and care in a cost-effective and equitable manner
- Lead health promotion and prevention activities within the facility and community
- Facilitate links between community structures and community-based services
- Collect, manage, and report on clinical data generated within the facility
- Oversee and supervise subordinates to ensure quality nursing care and record-keeping
- Provide mobile PHC services to other facilities in Sub-District 3 & 4 as required
- Ensure uncompromising adherence to Batho Pele principles and nursing legislation.

- Grade 1: R476367 - R549192 PER ANNUM.
- Grade 2: R583989 - R713253 PER ANNUM PLUS 13TH CHEQUE, HOUSING ALLOWANCE, MEDICAL AID (OPTIONAL, EMPLOYEE MUST MEET THE PRESCRIBED REQUIREMENTS..
