Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver advanced and comprehensive specialized nursing care to patients within the psychiatry unit
- Act as a shift leader, providing clinical direction and supervision for the implementation of nursing care plans
- Implement and monitor quality nursing standards, criteria, and indicators to ensure high-level practice
- Practice healthcare in strict accordance with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legal frameworks
- Maintain constructive working relationships with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure integrated care
- Manage the unit's human, material, and physical resources efficiently and cost-effectively
- Ensure holistic nursing service delivery that is equitable and efficient for all psychiatric patients
- Uphold professional and ethical practices in line with nursing legislation and related legal requirements
- Oversee the quality of practice and clinical patient care within the specialty unit.
