- Evaluate and update technical manuals and standard drawings to integrate emerging technologies
- Review and approve engineering designs and works produced by third parties to ensure adherence to legal codes
- Mentor and supervise technicians, technologists, and candidate engineers to facilitate knowledge transfer
- Manage departmental resources and budget planning while monitoring expenditure and service delivery
- Conduct advanced research and literature studies to maintain professional expertise and keep pace with technological shifts
- Ensure strict adherence to procurement regulations and personnel administration procedures
- Liaise with statutory bodies and professional councils on technical and regulatory engineering matters
