- Valid Code A (Motorcycle) and EC (Heavy Articulated Vehicle) Driving Licenses
- No Criminal Record
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and manage the enforcement of National Road Traffic and Public Passenger Transport legislation
- Coordinate joint law enforcement operations with other departments (Co-operative Governance)
- Provide tactical leadership and supervision to subordinate officers at the station level
- Manage the accurate completion and filing of critical Law Enforcement Documents (Section 56, 341, and impoundment records)
- Oversee vehicle inspections and the legal process for vehicle impoundment
- Conduct accident and incident investigations while providing detailed technical reports
- Manage the performance and discipline of staff in line with Labour Relations protocols
- Identify and mitigate operational risks within the traffic law enforcement environment
- Ensure high standards of service delivery and professional customer relationship management
