Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and enforce the National Road Traffic Act and Public Passenger Transport Legislation
- Lead and coordinate joint law enforcement operations and inter-governmental projects
- Provide tactical leadership and direction to a team of subordinates within the Traffic Information Office
- Identify and mitigate operational risks within the law enforcement environment
- Manage all administrative performance activities, including the accurate completion of law enforcement documentation
- Oversee vehicle inspections and the impoundment process for non-compliant public transport vehicles
- Ensure effective records management and maintain high standards of service delivery and customer relations
- Conduct investigations and provide detailed reports on traffic law enforcement activities
