Requirements
- Grade 1: No experience required after SAPC registration (SA qualified) or 1 year (Foreign qualified)
- Grade 2: 5 years experience after SAPC registration (SA qualified) or 6 years (Foreign qualified)
- Grade 3: 13 years experience after SAPC registration (SA qualified) or 14 years (Foreign qualified)
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care by monitoring work procedures and clinical service delivery
- Execute relief duties across facilities to maintain pharmaceutical service continuity
- Ensure compliance with the Provincial Medicine Code List and pharmaceutical regulations
- Conduct clinical audits in medicine storage areas to ensure quality of care
- Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of pharmaceuticals within the sub-structure
- Manage pharmaceutical expenditure through monitoring, evaluation, and trend analysis
- Implement expenditure control strategies in line with financial prescripts
- Collate and interpret pharmaceutical data for strategic reporting
- Represent pharmaceutical services at relevant departmental and clinical meetings

- Grade 1: R848862 - R900948 PER ANNUM, (ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE, DEPENDING ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE).
- Grade 2: R917634 - R972612 PER ANNUM, (ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE, DEPENDING ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE).
- Grade 3: R1001349 - R1062183 PER ANNUM, (ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE, DEPENDING ON YEARS OF EXPERIENCE).
